About T.S. Writing Services

T.S. Writing Services, LLC, was founded in 2003 to meet a growing demand for American Sign Language and English services. T.S. Writing Services has grown from a one-person company to a team of experienced writers, editors and designers fluent in American Sign Language and English. We work with individuals, non-profit agencies, small businesses, and corporations.  Pictures on this Web site are views from the office, located in Faribault, MN.

About Trudy Suggs, Owner

Trudy Suggs began editing people’s work when she was a child, never dreaming this skill would evolve into a career. A writer and educator, Trudy is active with community organizations and travels the nation providing presentations and workshops.

In 2008, she received the Gallaudet University Alumni Association's Outstanding Young Alumnus award and the National Association of the Deaf's CEO Award. In 2009, she was selected by Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie as a National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award recipient.

It’s great being green

The founder and president of the Environmental Concerns Club at her high school many years ago, Trudy has always believed in the importance of being as earth-friendly as possible. As a result, T.S. Writing Services strives to minimize its carbon footprint by:

• Being as paperless as possible by doing nearly everything via the Internet,
• Recycling everything from paper to toners to electronics,
• Reusing anything that can be reused,
• Buying from environmentally-conscious companies,
• Working from home and minimizing the need to drive anywhere,
• Powering down electronic devices when not in use,
• Keeping thermostats at lower temperatures (even during Minnesota winters),
• And taking other small but key steps.
